PDFL Handbook 2019-2020

Rules (Cont) the scheduled KO. If a team cancels a game after that mark, then it is a disciplinary matter and the club cancelling will be fined in accordance with the Fine Tarif and the win and 3 points awarded to the other team. THE GAME WILL NOT BE RESCHEDULED! The only exception to the 7-day rule is unplayable pitches. If there is an indication that a pitch may be unfit, then teams should chat as soon as possible and see if there is an alternative pitch available. If a pitch is deemed unplayable past the 7-day cut off point then the teams involved should reschedule the game with 7 days of the postponement i.e. if called off on a Sunday morning as waterlogged, then the fixture needs a new date in the calendar within 7 days of that post- ponement. The new date doesn’t have to be within 7 days, that can be whenever, but there must be a rearranged date in the calendar, so it is not left to be dealt with as a catch-up game. (ii) Any Club with more than one Team in the Competition shall always fulfil its fixture, within the Competition, in the following order of precedence: - First Team, Reserve Team, A Team, B Team and C Team. (iii) Any Club unable to fulfil a fixture or where a Competition Match has been postponed for any reason must, without delay, give notice to the Fixtures Secretary, the Competition Refer- ees Appointments Officer, the secretary of the opposing Club and the Match Officials. (iv) In the event of a Competition Match not being played or abandoned owing to causes over which neither Club has control, it should be played in its entirety on a date to be mutually agreed by the two Clubs and approved by the Board. Failing such agreement and notification to the Fixtures Secretary within 2 days the Board shall have the power to order the Competi- tion Match to be played on a named date or on or before a given date. Where it is to the ad- vantage of the Competition and the Clubs involved agree, the Board shall also be empow- ered to order the score at the time of an abandonment to stand. Providing gate money is tak- en and retained the visiting Club shall receive their actual standard class rail or bus fares or the equivalent for 4 persons, or car allowance at 40p per mile for transporting 4 persons or hire charge of a coach (receipt to be submitted). The residue (if any) to be equally divided between the two Clubs after deducting the cost of advertising, printing, posting, police and Match Officials charges. The home Club shall take the whole of the proceeds of the second Competition Match. Failure to comply with this Rule will result in a fine in accordance with the Fines Tariff. (v) The Board shall review all Competition Matches abandoned in cases where it is conse- quent upon the conduct of either or both Teams. Where it is to the advantage of the Com- petition and does no injustice to either Club, the Board shall be empowered to order the score at the time of the abandonment to stand. In all cases where the Board are satisfied that a Competition Match was abandoned owing to the conduct of one Team or its Club member(s) they shall be empowered to award the points for the Competition Match to the opponent. In cases where a Competition Match has been abandoned owing to the conduct of both Teams or their Club member(s), the Board shall rule that neither Team will be awarded any points for that Competition Match and it shall not be replayed. No fine(s) can be applied by the Board for an abandoned Competition Match. (vi) The Board shall review any Competition Match that has taken place where either or both Teams were under a suspension imposed upon them by The FA or Affiliated Association. In each case the Team that was under suspension would be dealt with in the same manner as if they had participated with ineligible players in accordance with Rule 18(N) above. Where both Teams were under suspension the game must be declared null and void and shall not be replayed.
