Chairman ’ s report on behalf of the directors. I ’ d like to welcome everyone to this year ’ s 2023/24 AGM and thank everyone who's been involved with The Peterborough & District Football League during the season. A big thank you to those Board Members who have covered for me in carrying out the League and Cup presentations whilst I have been convalescing. Congratulations to all League, Cup and County Cup winners, and a big well done to all the other teams competing in League. Thanks goes to Wendy and her team of Georgie, Katie & Kyle who have helped to ensure the league has ran smoothly. Last but not least, a very big thank you to all the Referees, without them there would be no football. Remember, you go out to do your best, so do they! We are delighted to announce a 5 - year sponsorship deal with GCE Hire Fleet Limited from the start of the 2023/24 season until the 2027/28 season. A global supplier of leading heavy earth moving, and plant equipment, GCE are already providing support to the league by contributing towards our referee tracksuit scheme and have supplied each adult Saturday and Sunday team with a manager ’ s jacket. We are excited to see what the future holds for this partnership. We would like to say a huge thank you to DOR - JAN Windows and Doors for their support this season and wish them the very best for the future. Thank you also to ChromaSport for sponsoring the League Cup this season. If you need any help, assistance, advice please don ’ t be afraid to ask, just call any of the League Staff or Board Members. I ’ m hoping to be attending matches again this season. If you see me at any of your games, please feel free to pop over for a chat.
