Premier League Champions Cup

Title of Competitions The Competition shall be called the United Counties Football League Premier League Champions Cup Com petition. The cup will be competed for by winners of the Premier Division North and Premier Division South Divisions, who will play each other for the League Premier League Champions Cup once the regular playing season has concluded. Management of the Competition The entire management and control of the Competitions shall be vested in the Board, who shall have the power to deal with any matter for which no specific provision is made. Any other matter not provided for in these Rules shall be determined by the Board. The matches shall be arranged by the Fixture Director. The fixture will be held at the ground of the team with the best Points Per Game record across the League Season if available, or the other competing teams ’ ground if not. If neither club can host the League will allo cate a venue. All arrangements for the match shall be made by the Board. The Competitions shall observe the Rules, Regulations and Bye - Laws of the Football Association, and all matches shall be played according to the Laws of the Game, as settled by the international Football Associa tion Board. Requirements on Winning Clubs The winning Clubs shall comply with League Rule 18. Gate Receipts/Proceeds of Matches The League shall take the proceeds of the cup and shall be responsible for meeting the expenses of the ties. Player Eligibility All players must be registered with the Registration Secretary as per Section 6 of the League rules. Substitutes may be used, as provided for in League Rule 6.8 Ineligible Players Any Club playing an unregistered or otherwise ineligible player or players shall be liable to a fine in accord ance with the Fines Tariff. The Club will also be removed from the Competition, unless able to satisfy the Board that the club (or any of its officers) did not know and could not reasonably have known, even had it made every reasonable enquiry (with the exercise of the utmost caution), that the player was ineligible. Kick Off Times Unless special arrangement is made with the Competition Secretary, kick off time for all Saturday matches shall be 3.00 p.m. Kick off time for midweek matches under floodlight will be 7.45 p.m. unless mutually agreed by the two Clubs and notified to the Fixture Director 14 days in advance of the match. If a Club does not have a valid floodlight grid, they will be required to find an alternate ground or play on their opponents ground so that the competition is not delayed. Duration of Matches/Extra time and Penalties The Competition match shall be played to a conclusion, if after 90 minutes the scores are level penalty kicks shall be taken, as set out by the Football Association Limited. There is no provision for replays.
